The Real Story Behind
BossFx Academy
It started in 2019. A roommate pulled about ₦70,000 from the market in a single afternoon — just by following signals — and for the first time I watched forex move on a MetaTrader screen. I understood none of it. I only knew I wanted to understand all of it.
Chasing it took money I didn't have. My mum carried our education and looked after my brother and me — but the trading dream was mine to fund. So I built my own runway: working as a personal assistant, coaching computer basics, freelancing every tech skill I had, and putting what little I saved into my first live account. When COVID kept us home, I devoured every forex resource I could find.
I lost that first deposit anyway. I paid into a signal group that dropped me after a week, drowned in tutorials that never connected, and got quietly bled by spreads I didn't understand. On about ₦20,000 a month, saving my next stake took six to eight painful months — less on food and clothes, miles walked instead of paid for — just to stay on target. I never stopped wanting what I'd seen that first day.
The turn came in 2022. Through a proprietary trading firm's challenges and funded accounts, I finally faced the market with real money and real consequences — and built the discipline theory never gave me. By 2023 I was posting my own trades and analysis, friends were following my calls, and it clicked: the thing I'd been missing all along was structure — and I could teach it.
Seven years in, I don't have the fast cars or the private jets. What I have is proof of what the market can change in a person — and honest scars from how deep it can cut. BossFx Academy is the structure I never had: risk-first, no hype, no signal-selling. Every lesson is one I paid for with real money and real losses. I know the cost of walking this path alone — so walk it with me instead.
